It is a very sad incident for Bandar Mahkota Cheras folks, they have denied the right to a basic necessity i.e a main access road, it will make you wander where is the citizen rights stand in this country. How can a private company's interest be put on top of the rakyat!!! What is our government doing? Aren't they suppose to work for the benefits of the people, how can they sign something which benefited the tol company and let the people suffer.

Grand Saga, the concessionaire, demand a compensation of RM400 million citing the leak in traffic as reason if the road is opened to public. This is totally unacceptable as the construction costs of the highway was only RM275 million, bearing in mind that Government had compensated them more than RM100 million previously for not increasing the tol rate. This couple with the tol collection so far, it should have been recovered a big churn of their investment. Don't forget the concession still have 20 years to go. Why the Government still silence on the hugh compensation sought by GS??? Is this humane to force the people of BMC to suffer because of the unfair contract signed earlier??? Why can't the Government initial some action to rectify the issue.

For BMC folks, they are also not using the highway free of charge, they still have to pay the Bt 9 tol if they go to the city or Bt 11 tol if they go to Kajang. Is it unfair that they pay only 1 tol since they are traveling half of highway. It is very very wrong in business ethic to sell your product by force. Please give the justice to the people, uphold their right and stop all the day-light robbery.
